Independent provider responsibilities
By accepting this agreement when saving a listing, you confirm you are 18 or older, work independently or own an independent business, and will comply with applicable licensing, permits, insurance, employment, consumer-protection, and safety requirements. Ownership and qualification claims are self-reported. TradesTrust does not confer a license, certify skill, or guarantee job suitability.
Your listing and private contacts
You authorize profile content to be publicly displayed. Your business email and optional phone are private by default. You decide whether to share them with a customer after accepting that customer’s request. Do not place private contact details, addresses, or sensitive information in your public profile or photos. Listing edits appear immediately unless the listing has been hidden by the owner.
Jobs, payments, and customer agreements
You set prices and agree on each job directly with the customer. Provide a written scope, price, payment schedule, applicable permits, and warranty terms. You are responsible for the work you perform and your conduct. TradesTrust does not supervise jobs, employ you, collect job payments, or guarantee your work or customer payment.
Moderation and reviews
Follow the Community rules, respect customer privacy, and respond honestly to disputes. You may decline requests, block abusive customers, and report content. You may not fabricate reviews or demand removal of honest negative reviews. Listings and access may be hidden, suspended, or removed for policy violations, with Support & appeals available.
Service and legal limitations
Listings and job requests are free. Donations do not buy placement or lead access. No term here removes rights or obligations that cannot legally be waived. The Terms of use and Privacy policy also apply. Obtain appropriate insurance for your work and verify the applicable legal requirements in each place you operate.
